King Khalid International Airport
Our journey to Saudi Arabia began in 2016 when we were awarded an airport management contract to operate the newly built Terminal 5 on behalf of Riyadh Airports Company at KKIA in Riyadh Airports Company.
Since 2016 our contract has evolved from managing Terminal 5 to a team of dedicated advisors and consultants who are embedded in Riyadh Airports Company and work across multiple functions such as Operations, Commercial, ORAT, Human Resources, Airline Business Development and Finance.
There are five operative terminals at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) together with the Royal Terminal. Terminal 5, opened in May 2016 and throughout our management contract we developed a customised, passenger-centric operating model for the terminal based on a strong partnership with Riyadh Airports Company.
In 2024 King Khalid International Airport was the second busiest in the Kingdom with approximately 37.2 million passengers passing through its terminals.
We continue to support our clients in Saudi Arabia to improve socio-economic development and boost tourism and look forward to working with RAC as it enters the next significant step of their airport journey.
