Red Sea International Airport

In 2022, we signed a contract to operate the new airport at The Red Sea Development Project in Saudi Arabia.

Our story at Red Sea International Airport began in 2020, when Red Sea Global appointed daa International to manage and operate the airport at one of the world’s most ambitious luxury tourism destinations.

Located on Saudi Arabia’s west coast, The Red Sea destination spans over 28,000 square kilometres and has been designed around sustainability, innovation, and regenerative tourism. Red Sea International Airport serves as the gateway to the destination and several major Saudi tourism giga-projects.

Since 2020, daa International has supported the airport through every stage of development — from design validation and operational readiness to full airport management and operations. Our scope includes airfield and terminal operations, aviation services, facilities management, commercial activities, and corporate and financial services.

The airport welcomed its first passengers in September 2023 through the Air Taxi Terminal, providing access to the first hotels now open across the destination. Once fully operational, Red Sea International Airport is expected to serve up to one million passengers annually, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, safety, and guest experience.
