15 July 2026 Washington Dulles International Airport, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) named daa International as awardee for its Remote VIP Passenger Services project. The scope is to plan, develop and operate a dedicated facility for commercial airline passengers, offering an additional premium choice shaped around privacy, comfort, personal assistance and time efficiency. The published programme includes a 30-month construction period followed by a 20-year operating term, with the terminal building to be designed in collaboration with Corgan. The project draws on daa International’s experience in airport planning, terminal development, passenger experience and operational readiness, including the Platinum VIP private terminal at Dublin Airport, a VIP terminal in design in Vietnam, and management of Red Sea International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
