Working along side our clients the daa International team of experts develop and deliver bespoke programmes aligned to the clients talent management, organisation capability and succession planning requirements and to suit the overall individual airports needs.

From leadership coaching to on-the-job familiarisation, we support the next generation of global leaders and provide practical, accessible, values-based programmes which provide real impact in the workplace.

A recent example of how we supported a client was through the development of the first ever Graduate Leadership Programme for Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), King Khalid International Airport.

Programme Overview

The programme included both local and international modules over a 12 month period.

Industry experts from Dublin and Cork International Airports travelled to Riyadh and delivered a series of lectures.

The International module came after 6 months of classroom, mentoring and on-the-job training on-site in Riyadh. The successful ‘Future Leaders’ were invited to attend a three-week international visit combining both theoretical and practical programs, encompassing the exciting world of aviation and leadership fundamentals.

The International programme consists of:

  • One week in Cork Airport where the focus is on airport operations including airfield management, business continuity and airside asset management
  • The second week in Dublin Airport focuses on developing world class ‘Passenger Experience’ strategies and commercial revenue generation in an airport
  • The final week is based in the Irish Management Institute where the participants undertake a bespoke Leadership Development Programme
  • Additional programmes developed for Riyadh Airports Company include a 7-week Operation Excellence Programme and a Commercial Excellence Programme
